When’s the last time you saw strangers wearing each others lips?

One of things I love about visiting San Francisco is the happy accidents. Stumbling upon cool stuff without even trying. Being a stranger to a city opens you up to what’s going on around you.

I literally walked into ‘make love’ art project in the middle of a park organised by photographer Daniel Castro. Over two days Castro took over 300 portraits and 500 “polaroid lips” to fill a massive six foot public installation with the letters L-O-V-E.

The gallery show is on tonight, if you are in San Francisco you should check it out at SF Camerawork. There’s food by Straw SF drinks and a bunch of photos for auction. All proceeds go to a mentoring program which encourages young kids to get into photography.
